December 8, 2025

What a year 2025 has been! As the leaves change their hues and the sun sets a bit earlier, there’s no better time to unwind and look back at what we have accomplished. You might want to bundle up, drink a cozy beverage, or light some fragrant candles, but don’t let the season send you into a slump. Like the autumn harvest, we have had an abundant year, and reflecting on what we have done will propel us forward to further development.

This August, we celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. While we commemorated the national legacy and expansion of ballot access for underserved communities, we can continue to build upon its foundation and promote the importance of vigilance and civic empowerment. This empowerment comes from strengthening relationships in the community, authentic connections, and looking to trusted resources to make informed decisions.

Do you know where to find California Trusted Information? It can be hard to distinguish misinformation, intentional or otherwise, from reality and facts. If you haven’t already, make sure the “This is the Promote the Vote, The Podcast” shows up in your Spotify Wrapped or Apple Music Replay before the year ends.
